Childcare

While children are always welcome in worship, we also offer nursery care for small children who may struggle to make it through a full worship service. This includes a nursery for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, where trained caregivers supervise and care for young children while their parents are in the main worship service. Our caregivers are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Safegaurding

The Episcopal Church has a comprehensive safeguarding program in place to protect children, youth, and vulnerable adults. This program includes a set of policies and procedures, as well as training and education for clergy, lay leaders, and members of the church community. The goal of the program is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all people. All of our safeguarded personnel are required to have reference checks, face to face interviews, and background checks.

Volunteering

If you have a love for children and a desire to serve at St. Peter's, volunteering in the church nursery may be a great opportunity for you. By serving in the nursery, you have the chance to care for and nurture young children as they learn and grow in their faith. Your time and presence will be a blessing to the children and to the whole church. All volunteers that work with children and youth are required to be safeguard trained and checked.
